Here's What They Take Over

A dedicated assistant doesn't "help out." They own a defined set of work, every day, so it stops landing on you.

Orders & customers

  • Processing orders and fixing the ones that go wrong
  • Answering customer emails, live chat and calls
  • Chasing suppliers and couriers on delayed shipments
  • Handling returns, refunds and exchange requests
  • Following up customers who went quiet

Your store & catalogue

  • Adding and updating product listings
  • Keeping descriptions, images and pricing current
  • Checking stock levels and flagging what's running out
  • Responding to product reviews and questions
  • Tidying collections, tags and categories

Admin that eats the week

  • Data entry and keeping records straight
  • Building and maintaining reminder and task lists
  • Scheduling, inbox triage and calendar management
  • Preparing recurring reports
  • Chasing the small things nobody has time to chase

Keeping you informed

  • A monthly sales evaluation, not just a task log
  • Daily or weekly updates in whatever format you prefer
  • Flagging patterns worth your attention — repeat complaints, stock gaps, slow-moving lines

And what stays with you. Pricing decisions. Supplier negotiations. Anything that needs your name on it. We're not trying to run your business — we're trying to give you back the ten hours a week that stop you from running it properly.

Why business owners trust us

Decades Of Doing This Properly

We started in 2009. Most of the businesses we work with have been with us for years, not months.

We ran support before we sold it

Hire Live Support started because we needed customer support for our own products and couldn't find anyone who did it the way we wanted. We built the team, worked out what actually holds up under pressure, and only then opened it to other companies.

Since 2009. Over 100 businesses.

We've been doing this for seventeen years and supported more than a hundred companies across ecommerce, SaaS, professional services and retail, in the US, UK and Australia. That isn't a growth-hacking story. It's a long, unglamorous record of showing up every day for people who were counting on us.

You'll deal with the people who own the business

We're deliberately not a large operation. There's no account-management layer between you and the people responsible for your work — when something needs fixing, you're talking to someone who can actually decide.

We're built for the long relationship

Anyone can staff a role. The value shows up in month six, when your assistant knows your suppliers, your regular customers and the exception in your refund policy nobody ever wrote down. That's why we assign a named person and keep them on your account.

More Client Testimonials

Hire Live Support gave us the additional support we needed without the hassle of hiring and managing another full-time employee internally. Our VA quickly became familiar with our processes and has been a dependable part of our day-to-day operations.

Josh M.

President

My Virtual Assistant has made a noticeable difference in how efficiently I manage my daily workload. The ability to delegate recurring tasks to someone who understands my systems has allowed me to focus on more important priorities.

Candy T.

Chief Executive Officer

I was looking for a reliable ongoing support partner rather than someone who simply completed individual tasks. Hire Live Support provided a VA's who became familiar with our workflow, followed our processes, and became a valuable extension of our team.

John P.

Executive Director

Having dedicated Virtual Assistant support has given our business the flexibility to handle more work without increasing our internal overhead. The team has been responsive to our needs, and my VA has taken on responsibilities that would otherwise have consumed a significant amount of our time.

Kevin N.

CEO

What stood out to us was the ability to have dedicated support while still having a team behind the individual VA. Hire Live Support has helped us maintain consistency in our daily operations and provided the additional capacity we needed as our workload grew.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about working with a dedicated virtual assistant

Your assistant works inside the tools you already use — Zendesk, Zoho, Freshdesk, Gorgias, Shopify, HubSpot, Trello, Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp, Google Workspace, WordPress and most other common business software. During onboarding you give access to whichever platforms the role needs, and we train your assistant on your specific workflows and processes before they start. If you use something less common, we'll learn it.
One month. That's genuinely the minimum, not a contract with a month's notice buried in it — and after that it stays month to month with 30 days' notice. In practice, one month is about how long it takes for an assistant to stop asking questions and start anticipating them, so most clients find the value shows up in month two and compounds from there.
We tell you the same day, and we move a trained replacement onto your account — briefed on your processes from the documentation we built during onboarding, so they aren't starting from zero. For roles where continuity is critical we keep a backup resource familiar with your account. Short absences are covered the same way. You're never left refreshing an inbox wondering where someone is.
Yes, we sign NDAs and confidentiality agreements as standard, and we're happy to sign yours rather than ours. Your assistant gets access only to the systems the role actually requires — nothing more. No customer data is stored on personal machines, access is revoked the day an assignment ends, and everyone working on your account is bound by confidentiality covering your customer data, business information, intellectual property and internal processes.
However suits you. Most clients use the project tools they already have — ClickUp, Trello, Asana, Monday.com — or simply email and Slack. You can hand over a daily task list, assign work as it comes up, or set standing responsibilities your assistant just handles without being asked. If you have SOPs and reporting formats, we follow them. The aim is that your assistant works the way your team already works, rather than making you learn a new process.
The $399 plan is 4 hours a day, 5 days a week — enough for a defined set of recurring tasks. The $699 plan is 9 hours a day, 5 days a week, which covers a full working day and is what most businesses choose once they've seen how much work there actually is to hand over. Both are the same dedicated assistant model with the same onboarding. Longer coverage is available at 12, 16 and 24 hours a day.
Yes. You're not billed during onboarding, and your first week with your assistant live on your work is free. Billing starts from day eight. If the fit isn't right in that first week, you can walk away having paid nothing — which is a fairer test than a demo call, because you're judging actual work rather than a sales pitch.
Ten business days from agreement to your assistant being live on your work. That covers documenting your processes, training your assistant on your tools and products, and a shadowing period where their work is reviewed before it reaches your customers. We can move faster on simpler scopes, but ten days is what we'll commit to in writing.
Yes. We match based on the work you need and your industry, and you meet your assistant before they start. If they're not the right fit — for any reason, including ones you'd struggle to articulate — say so and we'll assign someone else. That's on us, not on your timeline.
